Support Local Food
The Keller Farmers Market is a casual, open air, seasonal market around the Keller Town Hall Fountain that offers fresh Texas produce, specialty meats, farmstead cheese, baked goods, artisan bread, locally roasted coffee and tea, prepared foods, and crafts. We are located on Bear Creek Parkway, across from the shops and apartments of Arthouse. KFM is a convenient and safe place for the whole family. After your market visit, enjoy the walking trails and large parks surrounding the area, as well as fun nearby shopping at the wonderful boutiques, salons, galleries and art-related shops. Every Saturday from May to late October, the market offers something different – whether it’s the freshest produce, live music, chef demonstrations, health and wellness workshops and more – it is as much a center of commerce as it is for the community to reconnect. Our market is open rain or shine, but may close without prior notice during extreme weather conditions in order to maintain the safety of shoppers and vendors. It's a great place to bring the kids, throw a Frisbee, and pick up great local food products. Come experience the market. Learn from the farmers and wellness providers. Talk with local artisans. Make your own statement in support of local food! Now Accepting the Lone Star Card
We are pleased to announce the market will accept state issued Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) cards, the electronic delivery method for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), known as the Lone Star Card in Texas, this season as part of a pilot program with the Texas Department of Agriculture.
SNAP, formerly known as the Food Stamp Program, is a federally funded program which delivers monthly nutrition benefits to over 40 million Americans nationwide, 3.5 million in Texas. Eligible items include fruits, vegetables, meats, fish, poultry, eggs, dairy products, baked goods, jams and jellies and honey. The purchase of vegetable plants and potted herbs is also acceptable.
